The strategic goals are considered when company is thinking of the long-term objectives. The top managers have to make sure that they are in line with the changing environment that they have to review in the annual meeting every year. ORGANISING Definition Organising is one of the four managerial functions which focus on allocating and arranging human and non-human resources so that the plans can be carried out successfully. It also means constructing an organisational structure that is compatible for the accomplishment of the agreed purposes, lines of authority, and responsibility defined, and a system of rules and procedures which lead the performance of subordinates lay down. Organising is how the plan will be carried out so the goal is achieve. Once a plan is planned, the next step in the progression is to agree on which individuals will need to be include, who will be in charge, who will keep individuals held responsible, and what resources will be necessitate, who will be in charge for getting those resources, who will keep an eye on the progress? Those phases are all part of the organising process in the project. Hence, organising is next to planning because once the plan is planned, the next natural move in the progressions is to get organised so the plan comes to fruition. Leadership also can be defined as the ability to influence a group towards the achievement of goals. To lead subordinates successfully, the manager must provide directions and leaders hip to his staffs, to perform the essential task within the required time frame, and with the most efficient use of resources. Leadership theory are include trait theory (leadership idea that try to identify characteristic that differentiated from non- leaders), behavioral theory (identified behaviors that differentiated effective leaders from ineffective leaders) and contingency theory (leaders should be flexible and adjust to change in the environment). The important managerial skills have four important skills which is planning, organizing, leading and controlling or managing. All these skills are related to each other. Without this four skills manager are not being able to lead the employees in order to achieve organization vision, mission and goal. Controlling is once of the important as the organization will not substined without it. Manager need controlling to encourages others employee to be creative, innovative and aware toward their jobs, beside that managers identify any opportunities for change and development to upgrade the quality of employees and also their product, before it drives change the manager scopes and plan it carefully. Other than that manager used controlling to manages other employees through the change process to make sure it run smoothly, manager also must takes account of all stakeholder issues that happen to them to make a clear understanding and try to avoid from occurs problem. Mission Hill Springs a Fountain of Youth Itââ¬â¢s 7 p.m. on a Friday night in Boston. Jake Hedstrom and his roommates are gearing up for another weekend on Mission Hill. Hedstrom attends Northeastern University where he is a music industry major currently in his third year. He lives in a four-bedroom apartment at 98 Hillside Street with three guys that he met during his freshmen year. The apartment cost them about $450 each a month and they have been living there since September of 2003. They have an occasional party at their apartment, but tonight they are going a few doors down to a friendââ¬â¢s party. The place where the party will take place is also home to a group of another four Northeastern Students. All over Mission Hill there are similar events taking place on this Friday night, Northeastern, Mass Art and Wentworth students all migrating to the hill for parties at various apartments. ââ¬Å"From the time we were freshmen, we knew people who lived up on Mission Hill and we came up and partied sometimes, and it was always a good time. I love living on the hill now, itââ¬â¢s a lot cheaper than the dorms and everyone I know lives up here now also,â⬠said Hedstrom. The picture is like a scene out of "Dawn of the Dead," where hoards of the undead take to the streets, groups of students fill down Hillside, Calumet, and St. Alphonsus Streets heading to their party destinations for a night of fun. Mission Hill is home to 19,196 people in an area that is only two and a half times the size of the Boston Commons yet it is home to a large variety of Bostonââ¬â¢s population. Mission Hill was named after the Mission Church, which sits in the heart of the hill along Tremont Street. Mission Church, which was completed in 1869, serves as the neighborhoods defining landmark,and is one of only 43 minor basilicas in the United States. The Mission school which sits right behind the church was chartered in the 1920ââ¬â¢s as an elementary for the residents of Mission Hill. Renamed Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the 1940ââ¬â¢s by Pope Pius XII, the church has been home to thousands of followers in its 125-year history. The area, which was once home to many English and Irish settlers, is now one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the entire city.

English Views of the Native Americans After reading chapter three of Unger's American Issues, I now have a better understanding of how English settlers looked upon the lifestyles of the Native Americans. Four key people that have led to this understanding are Hugh Jones, Hugh Henry Brackenridge, William Penn, and John Heckewelder. In their essay's they give accurate accounts of how the Native Americans lived, through their eyes. I also see how European beliefs reflected their views and how this set the stage for conflict among these groups. In Hugh Jones' essay titled, "Characteristics of the Indians," he basically gives a factual account of how the Indians live their daily life. Although his account is mostly factual, his European biases do play a major role in his interpretation of Indian ways. In one instance, in describing the Indians rejoicing and war dances, Jones says that they used, "the most antick [sic] gestures, in the most frightful dress, with a hideous noise" (Unger, p. 43). To Jones and other Englishmen their dress may seem frightful and the noise may sound hideous, but that is his opinion. To the Indians this is normal and a way of life. This just shows the white man's ignorance to the culture of the Native Americans. In a second instance Jones's describes the Indians in their "finest dress." He states that the Indians believe they are looking their best when they are ridiculously dressed. Once again he is giving his opinion of the definition of what is considered ridiculous to the English. Roles of Spartan Women
Question 1: With reference to source A, what does the evidence reveal about the roles and status of women in Spartan society. In Sparta, women were well respected and had multiple roles within society. They were given more freedom than in most other Greek societies. The main reason for this was the fact that Sparta had a warrior culture and the men were away either at war or training for war. while the men were away the women had multiple roles. The most important of which was to give birth to healthy Spartan children to become warriors.Some of the other roles women had included; participating in religious festivals, and managing the kleros. As mentioned above, the most important role of Spartan women was to give birth to healthy Spartan babies to become warriors. Xenophon stated ââ¬Å"for free women the most important job was to bear childrenâ⬠. In order to produce healthy children, women underwent physical training. This was because it was thought that a healthy mother would produce a healthy child. Lycurgus stated that only women who died in childbirth would be allowed to have a marked grave.Archaeological evidence has been found to support this statement. This highlights the importance of childbirth in Spartan society. From birth, mothers disciplined their children and instilled the attitudes of the agoge. They implanted the ideas of performing at perfection and were responsible for raising children to conform and be loyal to Sparta. When their sons reached the age of seven, the mothers would freely give their sons to the agoge for their military training.Women would maintain the ideologies of the agoge and Spartan society by ridiculing men that were cowards and praising those who were heroes. Plutarch speaks of this in source A. In Sparta, ââ¬Å"marriage by captureâ⬠was thought to have been practiced. As described by Plutarch, the bride would have her head shaved, she would be dressed in menââ¬â¢s clothes, and she would then lie in a dark r oom. The men would then come into the room, lift her onto the bed, have intercourse with her, and then return to his normal sleeping place. t is said that these customs were practiced in order to make the man feel more comfortable about having intercourse with a woman. From this point onwards, meetings between the couple were done in secret. Xenophon suggests that this was done to build up excitement and sexual tension so that when they finally did meet, the offspring produced would be stronger and healthier as a result. There is evidence to show that Spartan women had an important role in Spartan religion. Archaeological evidence has been found at the sanctuary of Artemis Orthia.This evidence includes hundreds of votive offerings. These offering were usually lead figurines in the shape of women. It is thought that these figurines symbolised childbirth and pregnant women would make these offerings either to ask for a successful childbirth or to ask to bear a strong, healthy son. Wom en also took part in three of the major festivals that took place in Sparta; the Karneia, the Hyakinthia and the Gymnopaediae. At the Hyakinthia, women rode in ceremonial chariots, marched in procession, sung, danced and took part in sacrifices.At the Gymnopaediae, women would compete with the males in athletic competitions. Spartan women also had a small, yet important role in the Spartan economy. Spartan women were required to oversee the kleros while the men were away at war or training. This meant that the men were dependent on their wifeââ¬â¢s efficiency in order to provide their contribution to the syssitia. Women could also inherit property from her familyââ¬â¢s estate. However, she did not own this land. Instead this land either formed part of a dowry or was passed onto her sons.According to Aristotle ââ¬Å"nearly two-fifths of the whole country is held by womenâ⬠. The main sources we have that relate to Spartan women all have limitations. Some of the main writer s that we gain information from are Herodotus, Aristotle, Thucydides, Plutarch and Xenophon. The reliability of these sources is limited due to the fact that none of the writers were from Sparta, they are all male, and the fact that it was seen has normal to make up stories rather than tell the whole truth.Some of the information provided may have been stereotypes created in order to emphasise the warrior nature of Sparta, however the information is nonetheless useful to modern day historians. In conclusion, Spartan women were a crucial part of Spartan society. without them, there would be no soldiers for the army nor would the kleros be run smoothly while the men were away at war or in training. It is through different sources, both archaeological and written, that it is evident that Spartan women had some degree of power and responsibilities within Spartan society.

Advertisements are everywhere, traveling by all ways possible, infiltrating the privacy that every person holds important to themselves and their family. American Marketing Association defines advertising as ââ¬Å"the non-personal communication of information usually paid for and usually persuasive in nature about products, services or ideas by identified sponsors through the various media.â⬠Today, with the development of the technology and the diversity of the mass media, advertising has influenced us pervasively in our daily life. Advertising has been applied in most of fields in society such as economical advertisings, educational advertisings, political advertisings, and healthy advertisings, etc. Advertising is used to promote goods, services, images, and anything else that advertisers want to publicize. It is becoming a major part of mass media. We may view it positively; at other times we may just skip or ignore it. In order to attract audience, advertisers use various techniques on their advertisement to make people aware of the firmââ¬â¢s products, services, or brands. Although the methods used by advertisers are infinitely, they have a common goal to persuade those who may become their customers to buy their products. An excellent advertisement will create a deep impression on its potential customers through particular techniques. They deliver their advertisement through TV, radio, magazines and newspapers, internet, billboards, and other multi-media means. By advertising, individuals or companies are able to get more extra profits from their products, promote their products, and gain the most important purpose ââ¬â to sell. In many cases, there are some negative effects ââ¬â some annoying hindrances in our daily lives. It makes our nerves, distorts the truth, and adds to the cost of the product. Advertising is designed for one purpose ââ¬â to sell. To achieve this goal, advertisers are willing to stretch and distort the truth, just to convince people to buy their products. For example, an advertiserà may convince buyers to purchase their products by stating those have been tested and found superior. In reality, the products are not better than any other ââ¬â the tests themselves doubtlessly conducted by the promoting company ââ¬â conducted to ensure at least something is superior about the product, even if it is only the color. These advertisements are worded carefully so that they are telling the ââ¬Å"literal truthâ⬠ââ¬â the truth is exactly what the words say, although people misinterpret the message by using conversational logic as something different ââ¬â something better. By using ingenious tactics like these, the populace is deceived into buying a product that may not do what is required, or a product that a buyer may have never needed. That is why advertising is not good for our society. First, I would like to discuss about the negative effects to children and youth. One of the most corrupt forms of advertising comes from cigarette companies. According to some investigator, ââ¬Å"Cigarette advertisements are degrading not only because the products behind them are proven to be a health hazard, but also because the advertisements are focused toward younger generations.â⬠Many advertisements use young, attractive, healthy looking models when advertising for a brand of cigarettes or beer. Company promotions have led people to affiliate certain products with feelings of happiness or euphoria. There is no doubt that people smoke the most heavily advertised brands of cigarettes. ââ¬Å"Tobacco advertising increases young peopleââ¬â¢s risk of smoking by using themes that appeal to them, such as fun times, action, and being popular and attractive.â⬠(Family Education 1). Advertisings that supply the Surgeon Generalââ¬â¢s warning along with the main body of the message are blatantly contradictive. These advertisings prove that there are many forms of advertising without any morals, and that companies will go to great lengths to have their name and image promoted regardless of the results. The nationââ¬â¢s companies have put themselves before the children. Similar to the case of cigarette companies, Ph.D. Henry Saffer show that spending money to advertise alcohol contributes to increase the rate of students drinking. Alcohol remains popular with American college students, as indicated by the Core Institute Survey (1998). In 1997, 84.2% of college students reported drinking alcohol, an increase of 2% over the prior year. For comparison, there were similar increases in the prevalence of tobacco and marijuana use. Moderate to heavy drinking also increased with corresponding reductions in abstention and light drinking. Nationwide, students reported consuming an average of 5.64 drinks per week in 1997, up about 7% over 1996. The Core Institute also reported that 45.5% of students had consumed five or more drinks in one sitting in the previous 2 weeks. More than 21% of the students reported three or more episodes of this kind of high-risk drinking in the previous 2 weeks. Finally, more than 90% of American college students reported that drinking is a central part of campus social life. (Henry Saffer, Ph.D., Alcohol Advertising and Youth, pg. 173) According to Competitive Media Reporting, more than $1.2 billion was spent in 1998 on alcohol advertising in measured media (i.e., print media, outdoor advertising, radio and television). An additional two-thirds billion dollars was spent on other forms of promotion, including sponsorships, couponing and direct mail. Alcohol advertising had decreased from 1987 to 1996 by 34%, in real terms. However, since 1997, alcohol advertising has been increasing. Part of the recent increase includes the use of cable television by spirits advertisers. (Henry Saffer, Ph.D., Alcohol Advertising and Youth, pg. 173) Second, advertisements can change or impact an individualââ¬â¢s behavior, attitude, expectations, or relationships. The more advertising that a person watches the more that they are influenced by it. The more that they are influenced by advertising the less important their relationships become. Consequently, the behaviors that we display and the influences on our physical environment are directly affected by the amount of advertisements that we see. In the world of advertising, lovers are things and things are lovers (Kilbourne, Canââ¬â¢t Buy My Love: How advertising changes the way we think and feel, pg. 77). Sadly, advertising promotes a corrupt and bankrupt concept of relationships (Kilbourne, Canââ¬â¢t Buy My Love: How advertising changes the way we think and feel, pg. 77). It is unavoidable and extremely damaging to our relationships and especially families. With the divorce rate and domesticà violence rate at the highest it has ever been, it is necessary to evaluate the influences of advertising to our relationships. It has become more and more difficult to relate to our partners in a manner that isnââ¬â¢t objectifying and exploitative. These are images that are forced into our heads and we may have very little control over. Moreover, advertising creates images of what is appropriate behavior in a relationship, using products. That behavior is not always one that is idealistic for real life relationships and generally can be very damaging to intimate and personal relationships. Advertising plays a part in dictating our expectations of our mate, ranging from money and clothing to behavior and attitude. Therefore, when messages and images are repeatedly presented to us they inevitably have an impact on our relationships. Our intimate relationships have been trivialized and our relationships with products have become more important. Another negative effect is that some advertisings use the sexual content to attract the attention of consumers. Consistently, studies have demonstrated that sexual appeals attract attention to the advertising, typically without a corresponding advantage for brand information processing. Sexual content may be eye-catching and entertaining, but it may not be communicative and might distract the viewer from the message. Reichert, Heckler, and Jackson (2001) claim that when sexual stimulus is used in advertising, viewersââ¬â¢ perceptual and processing resources are directed toward the sexual information in the ad rather than toward the brand. Therefore, they will not have a perspicacious decision to buy the products. Recently days, on the television, some company try to develop the crazy adverting project that use womenââ¬â¢s belly to advertise. They make some small advertising boards and they paste them on the belly of women and then they ask them to wear short skirt and bikini, after that they will go around some public locations. In this case, it is very stupid that it can promote the womenââ¬â¢s body not the products. Finally, use sexual content to advertise is one of the negative effects of advertising that is worse in the society. Throughout history politicians have used various methods, such as persuasive speeches, political advertising and political rallies, to achieve their ââ¬Å"primary goal, the winning votesâ⬠. But according to the results of theà research made by Won Ho Chang (Professor and Director of the Stephenonson Research Center at the University of Missouriââ¬â¢s School of Journalism), Jae-Jin Park (Public Relation Specialist with LG Corporation in Seoul, Korea) and Sung Wook Shim (graduate student in the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri) in 1998 ââ¬Å"over the years, politicians have found that it is most advantageous to use political advertising to persuade votersâ⬠. For example, the majority of presidential campaigns depend on television advertising. Clinton spent $12 million of his $30.9 million limit on television commercials in the middle of the primaries, $42.4 million during reconvention, and $44 million on television ads in the general election. A total of $98.4 million was used on television commercials. In my opinion, it is not good for the citizens and will influence on the result of voting. The voters will receive much positive information of the politicians and they will be distracting the purpose of vote. Moreover, by using an effective political advertising, a politician can win the other politicians even though he is not as good as the others, and it is unfair to them. There are no a commission to check the information of political advertising that is wring or wrong; therefore, the voters will have no chance to predict what the politicians will do for them. Some politician just tries to get votes by any ways, and when they win they forget what they promise. In short, advertising in voting is not a good method and it also makes some disadvantage to both the politicians and the voters. The last problem is that some activities in our society are wrapped by the advertisings. On the streets of our city, many advertising billboards are built to advertise for some products and it makes he city become uncivilized. On the television, there are many programs of advertising that trouble the audiences. For example, when people are attracted by a wonderful program, some adverting programs are run and distract them. More over, on the Internet, now people get many difficulties to check their e-mail in the inbox because they have seen many advertising letter from some company in their inbox. In short, some of advertisings are now obstructing the process of some activities in our society. Advertising has a strong influence over social behaviors, attitudes, andà expectations of individuals involved in intimate relationships between men and women Companies spend millions of dollars on advertising every year. The companies are very aware of the effect of advertisement on the community. Companies would not spend millions of dollars on advertising if it had little or no effect on the public. We all know that advertising provides a general service of informing us about products. But, does it also unnecessarily affect our behavior, relationships, and environment? So Nevada State College EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE2 Abstract Evidence based practice is an important aspect of nursing and many other disciplines. It is needed to build upon and/or modify current practices. Evidence based practice has made hospitals and medical facilities nationwide use policies and procedures that closely match the guidelines suggested by certain research. For example, the use of foley catheters and the regulations for the use has been greatly modified due to research based data.The guidelines are used to prevent catheter-associated urinary tract infections. Evidence based practice also has influenced the use of certain treatments for premature babies and how nursing orientation is done. This article will touch upon many aspects that research and evidence based data has changed and/or improved, so patient care is maintained safely and effectively. EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE 3 Evidence based practice (EBP) is an approach to healthcare wherein health professionals use the best evidence possible to make clinical decisions (Blais and Hayes, 2011). It involves complex and conscientious decision-making based not only on the available evidence but also on patient characteristics, situations, and preferences.Evidence based practice involves many steps along the way and have influence hospital policies and procedures. For example, the use and maintenance of in-dwelling foley catheters has been research upon and new practices are suggested. The new research and data had many purposes, like increase patient safety; decrease catheter-associated urinary tract infections, and how nursing will maintain the catheters. In this paper we will exami ne the use of evidence-based practice in regards to catheter-associated urinary tract infections.In the hospital, there are appropriate indications for indwelling urethral catheter and if those indications are not present then the physician needs to prescribe alternative methods of urinary drainage. Some indications per hospital policy is patient requiring prolong immobilization, perioperative use for urologic surgery, anticipated prolong surgery and the need to monitor urine output during surgery, critically ill patients that require strict input and output monitoring, patients with urinary retention and to improve comfort at end of life care.Indwelling catheters are not to be used for convenience for the medical staff. Once an indwelling catheter is indicated, then there are guidelines to maintaining the catheter. Sterile technique needs to be use while inserting the catheter to prevent infection. EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE 4 As per policy nursing staff need to perform catheter care at least once a shift and as needed. The continuation reassessment of the indication needs to be done also. The catheter needs to be secured to the patient and the collection bag needs to be lower than bladder level.The collecting tube needs to be free of kinks and dependent loops. The collection bag should be emptied routinely. If the catheter has been in for three days or longer, the nurse should provide daily reminders to the physician recommending the removal of the foley catheter, unless it is still indicated. The nursing staff and medical team need to provide education to the patient and the family during the duration of the catheter. These guidelines closely match the recommendations noted on the National Guideline Clearinghouse website. The hospital nursing staff tries to follow these guidelines closely.Our hospital has a self-made monitoring sheet that helps the nurse and the charge nurse to monitor the indwelling catheter and ensure daily care and reassessments are done. T he sheet allows the charge nurse and on-coming nursing staff to closely monitor if the patient is at risk for CAUTI. If a patient does develop a fever and has an indwelling catheter, then urine samples are obtain to rule out infection related to the catheter. The guidelines closely match our current hospital policy, but re-analyzing the guideline would help fine tune many other aspects of the policy (Allen and Donohue and Gilmore, 2010).Along with Guideline for prevention of catheter-associated urinary tract infections, I also use other evidence-based techniques in my practice as a pediatric nurse. EBP shapes how we give report at the end of the shift. The Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation communication was developed from research, like the EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE 5 one done in a northern Arizona hospital on the pediatrics/perinatal service department. The research was explained in the article, Collaborative Communication: Integrating SBAR to Improve Quality/Patie nt Safety Outcomes.Cynthia Beckett and Gayle Kipnis wrote the article explaining the importance and research supporting the use of SBAR during hand-off communication. This study surveyed nursing staff and physicians during and after the research. The integration of SBAR format helped this study achieve their two goals: increase effective communication and improvement of staff and patient satisfaction in care. As with the article, SBAR has made hand off communication to other nurses, physicians, and other discipline staff effective.The SBAR format paints a better picture of how the patient is doing and what is his current status. It also helps with further educating the staff. For example, when I am receiving report from a seasoned nurse and she recommends certain interventions, I am able to ask the needed questions to understand her recommendations; it provides an opportunity for a new nurse to learn the reasons behind certain interventions. EBP can be also applied to certain treatm ents over others. An example of such application is inhaled nitric oxide in preterm infants.A study done at John Hopkins University Evidence-based Practice Center in 2010 was an attempt to review the evidence on the use of nitric oxide on infants born at or before thirty-four weeks gestation age and need to receive respiratory support. Treatment for acute respiratory failure usually contributes to the development of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) or pulmonary hypertension. The purpose of this evidence report is to address if nitric oxide increase survival and/or reduce the occurrence of brochopulmonary dysplasia, are there short term EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE 6 r long term risk in the therapy and if the effects of inhaled nitric oxide therapy on BPD. The data collected and information was based on medical research, like certain clinical trials and other researches on Medline, EMBASE, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Studies, and PsycInfo databases. The information extract ed from these databases range from 2009 to 2010. The data collected was analyzed and the applied to the questions listed above. The results show that infants treated with nitric oxide did not decrease or increase the mortality rate in infants in the neonatal intensive care.There is inconclusive data regarding the short and long-term effects of inhaled nitric oxide. The research report does indicate there is no evidence that supports the use of inhaled nitric oxide in preterm infants with BPD. This research report is significant for nursing because it provides further education of the nursing staff. If a nurse is well versed in current treatment and their effectiveness, then they can assist the care for the patient along with the physicians and respiratory therapist (Beckett and KIpnis, 2009). Another aspect of nursing that EBP can be applied, is on management level.We discussed how it is applied on skills and treatments, but now we are going to see how EBP can improve the management of the nursing profession. In What Is the Latest Evidence on Nursing Orientation, written by Mary Krugman, the author examines the idea of nursing orientation. Is there a magic number of hours that is most effective to convey information to the new hires and also keep the cost for the hospital within reasonable limits. The article reviewed literature on this topic written in the past five years, spanning from 2006 to 2011. They selected twenty-nine articles to review.The selected articles they were organized and summarized by graduate nurse orientation and EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE 7 general orientation. The results showed that there was a gap in the general orientation versus graduate nurse orientation. There are many suggestion that professional development specialist should modify the traditional way of framing an orientation. There are studies that suggest that critical care nurse orientation should be provided to all levels of nursing. It becomes hard to challenge and keep the n ew hire engaged when all hospital orientation go over the same nursing concepts.The research implies that one must know your audience and modify the orientation as the day progresses. This article was not a study, but an implementation project. The ideas in the article would help the management and education team redesign how they orientate new hires. Sitting in a room and watching videos may not be the most effective way to organize nursing orientation. Integrating more hands on during orientation would better prepare new hires and new graduate nurses with the transition to the career. This idea would help make my hospital orientation become more interesting and engaging.The traditional way of orientation lack hands on and physically being on the unit. This would not really cost more than the classroom form of orientation. EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE 8 Summary Implementing evidence-based practice is a vital part of nursing and other professions. The application of the data from researc h and data collect help improve and modify all nursing aspects. It can shape certain practices done in the clinical setting, like how we maintain central venous lines, how we prevent catheter acquired urinary tract infections and as basic as hand hygiene.EBP also influence treatment options. Clinical data and or trials help provide new information on standard of care compared to new innovative treatment, as seen in the use of nitric oxide in preterm infants. We are able to compare the effectiveness treatment options to better serve the patient. EBP can also be used to improve nursing management.
